Due to the new Asian citrus psyllid regional quarantine for bulk citrus movement, all citrus growers, packers/processers and transporters must complete a 2018 Asian citrus psyllid exhibit form and return to the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) no later than March 16, 2018.
In January, CDFA sent a letter to all citrus growers, transporters, and packers and processors notifying them of the new Asian citrus psyllid regional quarantine for bulk citrus movement. The letter provided information on how to complete, sign and submit updated ACP exhibit forms to CDFA. Exhibits must be updated in 2018 as the exhibits signed and submitted in 2017 will no longer be valid. If you have already submitted your updated exhibits, please disregard this notice. Establishments growing, transporting, or packing/processing bulk citrus or mandarins with attached stems and leaves without an updated compliance agreement as of March 17, 2018, may be subject to regulatory penalties.
The two-page original compliance agreement that lists your compliance agreement number, and your and CDFA’s signature, will remain in place. Copies of exhibits along with instructions for completing and submitting the paperwork may be found at the following here:
https://www.cdfa.ca.gov/plant/acp/grower-packer-hauler-information.html.
Exhibits may be returned to CDFA by any of the following methods:
Mail to: CDFA – ACP Program, 1220 N Street, Suite 325, Sacramento, CA 95814
Email as PDF to: ACPCompliance@cdfa.ca.gov
Fax to: (916) 654-0986
Attach a copy of your newly signed exhibit(s) to your current compliance agreement, replacing your old exhibit(s), and submit the newly signed exhibit(s) to CDFA. Establishments may verify their compliance agreement number and that their exhibit(s) has been received by CDFA by checking the online database found at:
http://phpps.cdfa.ca.gov/PE/InteriorExclusion/pdf/ComplianceAgreementDatabase.pdf.
This is a legal requirement of each establishment, whether you grow, transport or pack/process citrus fruit, to ensure that all establishments you conduct business with are also operating under a valid and updated compliance agreement. If no such updated agreement is in place, no citrus fruit should be accepted from, transported to or packed/processed by that establishment.
