San Bernardino ACP Task Force Welcomes Dr. Beth Grafton-Cardwell – May 3

Inland Empire/Desert

Citrus growers and pest control advisers from San Bernardino and Riverside counties are invited to the San Bernardino Asian Citrus Psyllid Task Force meeting on Thursday, May 3. Dr. Beth Grafton-Cardwell, a research entomologist and integrated pest management specialist at the University of California, will present her research on the efficacy of area-wide treatments in the San Bernardino and Riverside areas, and her recommendations for better psyllid control.

For the past year, Dr. Grafton-Cardwell and her team have been conducting a sampling project in four areas (San Bernardino/Riverside, Coachella/Imperial, San Diego and Ventura) to determine the efficacy of area-wide treatments in the San Bernardino and Riverside region. At the task force meeting, she will present her analysis of the research and discuss treatment recommendations for better ACP control.
