SUMMARY:San Bernardino County Citrus Grower Meeting - Feb. 3
DESCRIPTION:Growers and industry members in San Bernardino County and Riverside County are invited to a Grower Meeting on Monday\, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. at the Redlands City Hall Council Chambers. Recent detections of HLB-positive trees in Colton have prompted an expansion of the HLB quarantine zone to include areas of Redlands and Loma Linda. The quarantine prohibits the movement of all citrus nursery stock or plant parts out of the quarantine area. Provisions exist to allow the movement of commercially cleaned and packed citrus fruit. \nAttendees will receive an overview and be able to ask questions on the mandatory regulatory protocols required by California Department of Food and Agriculture in response to an HLB detection\, and compliance and mitigation information for growers\, packers and haulers. \nThere is no need to register. A full agenda is provided below.
