Central Valley Packinghouse Meeting

The Citrus Pest & Disease Prevention Program and California Citrus Mutual invite packinghouse managers, operations managers and supervisors in the San Joaquin Valley to attend a roundtable discussion about the Asian citrus psyllid (ACP) and Huanglongbing (HLB).

The meeting will include updates on ACP and HLB in California, regulations affecting businesses, and Citrus Pest & Disease Prevention Program activities happening at the statewide level.

Time will be provided for questions and discussion with:

  • Nawal Sharma, manager for the quarantine response program at the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA)
  • Victoria Hornbaker, citrus program director, and Ray LeClerc, citrus program manager, at CDFA
  • Jim Gorden, Chair, Citrus Pest & Disease Prevention Program Committee
  • Local county agricultural commissioners
